Office Manager
You could say that an Office Manager’s job is very routine, but it’s enjoyable if you enjoy those you do it for.
A few questions for Markéta
If Markéta didn’t exist, our Prague office would be like a scene from an apocalyptic movie. Fluorescent lighting would cast its glow on zombie account managers, aimlessly aberrant project managers, and literally burned-out producers. A leaky faucet in the kitchen would rhythmically tick away our working hours… and the end of the world.
We are looking for a Markéta’s new right hand. She does have both of her hands, but she also has more projects than ever before. We asked her what she likes about SYMBIO, and what you might enjoy, too:
“My favourite are the tasks for which there is no obvious solution, and when I don’t know, at first, how to begin. For example? Planning a party for our clients called “A funeral of stupid ideas”. There are different tasks and problems to solve every day, and every day I do something I enjoy”.
What should “Marketa’s new right hand” manage?
“She should be detail oriented, have some manual skills, and be proactive. The ideal candidate should like surprising us and by going beyond the call of duty. For example, because I’m from Hořice, I decided to bake 300 traditional Hořice tubes. My right hand should use every single opportunity to make SYMBIO more friendly and a better place to work, and should never stop smiling, and always be sure to talk to everyone, so nobody gets jealous and casts their gloom over the whole office”.
