Business Development Manager

We are looking for a business developer for Symbia who understands what makes a good campaign, a strong brand, and why a nice logo is not enough. We are not looking for a persistent hunter who disappears into the bushes after a successful strike. Nor an account manager who waits for someone to contact them. We are looking for someone who understands the creative business and knows how to open it up to new clients and move existing ones forward. What can you expect from us?

  • Acquiring new business. Actively seeking out brands that need a better campaign, a clearer position, or a stronger identity. Through tenders, networking, or direct contact.
  • Tendering. Analyzing the assignment, deciding whether to go for it, coordinating the offer and presentation.
  • Client relations. From initial contact to long-term partnership—you know that good business starts with trust.
  • Teamwork. Strategy, bids, budgets, and terms of cooperation. Everything that gives the client relationship a clear framework.

What do we need from you?

  • Overview. You know who's who—among brands, agencies, and decision makers. You know the names, contexts, and timing.
  • Responsibility. Working with you doesn't leave things up in the air. You know how to manage and follow through. Strategic thinking. You can spot an opportunity – with a new client or in an existing collaboration.
  • Experience with creative work. Branding, campaigns, content, or digital. You understand how it's done and where to get involved.
  • A head for numbers and contracts. You can put together a budget and know what to look out for in a contract.
  • Confident communication. You present, negotiate, and represent. Naturally, with respect and charm.‍
  • Clear communication. Internally and externally. You can identify what is important – without unnecessary frills.‍
  • Sound judgment. You can evaluate an opportunity, make a decision, and go for it.‍Interest in AI. You know what GPT, Midjourney, and Perplexity can do. You're not a prompting wizard, but you understand how it can help you be faster, smarter, and more efficient.‍
  • English at ease. You can handle presentations and calls in English – when a client is from abroad, you don't flinch.‍
